2025 Yezdi Adventure: The adventure biking segment is gearing up for major overhaul, and now finally, Classic Legends has confirmed the 2025 Yezdi Adventure will commence on the 4th of June, 2025. The launch date, initially fixed for 15 May, was postponed following the India-Pakistan conflict and the company’s decision to “stand with our forces and show solidarity”. The much-awaited update will be the first major update for the motorcycle since it was given a complete overhaul in August 2024, and fans can’t wait to see what the manufacturer will offer as new features and design elements on the rugged adventure tourer.
The Yezdi Adventure is now a strong offering in the competitive entry-level adventure touring market with a good mix of off-road prowess and touring comfort. With competitors such as the Suzuki V-Strom SX 250, Hero Xpulse 210 and Royal Enfield Scram 411 not letting up, it’s a good time for Classic Legends to bring in this update so it can re-establish the Adventure’s presence in the market.
Striking New Design Elements
All eyes will be locked onto is the 2025 Yezdi Adventure’s new assymetrical twin-pod LED headlight arrangement that has been inspired by the older larger BMW F 800 GS. This unique front end will make the Adventure more intimidating on the road, like a predator ready to attack any terrain. And the teaser image that was disseminated along with the launch invite makes it abundantly clear that will be bold design strategy.
Thanks to the spy shots, the updated design will have a more aggressive design overall, particularly at the tail end of the bike. The rest of the body style of the Adventure will be unchanged including the beak-like front fender, tall windscreen, split seat, underbelly protection, and upswept exhaust but with these upgrades, the bike is expected to look more modern. The fuel tank is also well disguised on the test mules, the last to remain so which indicates that even this could see some revisions.
These design modifications might also result in slightly different dimensions, the seat height – 815mm – is expected to remain the same however, with the bike still a powerfully off-road capable one and suitable for different rider heights too.

Powertrain and Performance Predictions
The 2025 Yezdi Adventure will draw power from the same 334cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine updated last year under the hood (or in this case, under the tank). Now this engine delivers 29.2 bhp and 29.8 Nm of torque and is combined with a 6-speed gearbox. Just like a highly trained athlete, knowing when to conserve energy and when to go all out, this gear-based engine mapping, first launched on the Alpha2, is likely to be kept, providing you with best performance no matter where you end up on the trail.
The Adventure has a decent mileage of 33.07 kmpl in city and 35.16 kmpl on highways and would make it a practical option for touring. The 15.5 litre fuel tank ensures riders have ample fuel for out of town blasts and there are few fill-ups required on the journey to adventure.
The present model has a 0-100 kmph timing of 10.20 seconds and top speed of 140 kmph (unlikely to change for the 2025 version, unless Classic Legends had something cooking without us knowing, like the engine mapping or the exhaust system).
Advanced Electronics and Functions
The 2025 Yezdi Adventure also should get a major overhaul for its electronics suite, now more in line with premium offerings in the segment. Perhaps the most important addition would be traction control, which would make a world of difference to both the safety and off-road prowess of the bike by preventing the wheels spinning up in challenging terrain.
The current model already boasts a long features list consisting of a built-in USB charger, Bluetooth support, turn-by-turn navigation, and three modes for the dual-channel ABS such as road, rain and off-road. Disabled entirely when off-roading, the system can also disable rear wheel ABS for controlled slides and for better dirt role. These traits will likely continue into the 2025 model.
Further, the new-gen Adventure will meet OBD-2B emission norms and E20 fuel standards which are scheduled for all vehicles produced post April 1, 2025. This future-proofing ensures that the bike will remain both road and trackday legal in the future without performance being compromised.
Market Positioning and Competitive Environment
With a price tag that ranges from ₹2.10 lakh to ₹2.20 lakh (ex-showroom), the Yezdi Adventure has positioned itself strategically in the adventure motorcycle space. It is placed higher than the more affordable Hero Xpulse range but below premium European alternatives like the KTM 250 Adventure and BMW G 310 GS.
The 2025 refresh is also probably intended to maintain the Adventure’s value proposition next to competitors that have only grown more capable. The Suzuki V-Strom SX 250, priced at ₹2.16 lakh, is not only an impromptu adventure tourer, but it is almost a third cheaper than the G 310 GS with better hardware. The other alternative that exists in the form of the 450-powered Royal Enfield Himalayan at ₹2.85-2.98 lakh is a more expensive prospect if more power is your goal. You could also look at the recently launched Triumph Scrambler 400X at ₹2.66 lakh that as well fights in the same segment with its British roots and premium engineering.
That said, the combination of sufficient power, an extensive features list and better-than-average off-road capability, the 2025 Yezdi Adventure will likely still attract those wanting an easy ticket to adventure touring. The model’s intended launch on June 4 will help us see if Classic Legends has done enough to make the Adventure relevant in this fast moving segment.
